In 2014, Iran was the seventh-highest producer of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, and has made a two-place improvement in the last two years.
در سال 2014 ایران هفدهمین منتشرکننده گازهای گلخانه ای در جهان بود که دو جایگاه نسبت به دوسال قبل بهتر شده بود.
"In the general policies on environment, the Iranian Leader has ordered a 50 per cent drop in energy consumption, and based on this, the government has proposed a number of related plans,” she added.
وی افزود: در سیاست معمولی محیط زیست، مسئولان ایرانی کاهش 50 درصدی مصرف منابع را قرار داده اند و بر این اساس، دولت تعدادی از برنامه های مرتبط را پیشنهاد کرده است.
Ebtekar noted that Iran was part of the formation of the Paris Agreement from the beginning, adding "the Agreement has predicted technical, financial and scientific support via the Global Fund, and contains no sanctions or penalties.”
ابتکار اشاره کرد که ایران از آغاز، بخشی از ساختار توافق پاریس بوده است. و افزود "موافقتنامه پیش بینی های فنی، مالی و پشتیبانی علمی را از طریق صندوق جهانی کرده است و شامل هیچ تحریم یا مجازاتی نمیشود.
"By signing up to the Agreement, we can obtain many benefits for combating climate change and preserving our forests and wetlands,” she added.
وی افزود:
"با عضویت در توافقنامه، ما می توانیم منافع بسیاری برای مبارزه با تغییرات آب و هوا و حفظ جنگل ها و تالاب بدست آوردیم.
The present lawmakers at today’s session passed the bill on Iran’s membership to the Paris Agreement with 149 votes in favor, 6 votes against and 8 abstentions.
در حال حاضر قانونگذاران در جلسه امروز ، لایحه درباره عضویت ایران به توافقنامه پاریس را با 149 رای موافق، 6 رای مخالف و 8 رای ممتنع به تصویب رساندند.
